Flowers on Friday

I love having blue flowers in the garden and my friend Elaine E. shared some of her Forget-me-not seeds many years ago.

I can always count on these showing up each year because they are 'self seeding'. Every year I find them in one or two new areas of the garden. They are particularly nice to cover up the foliage of my spring bulbs so I can leave the bulbs in the garden, to build strength for next year's bloom.

The Forget-me-not is also the State Flower of Alaska.
